Camp Skirt Ponte Women- Black (All Lengths)

I am 5'2" tall and weigh just under 100 lbs. My waist is 28" and hips are 38." I bought size XL in the 29" length. The skirt is quite heavy and the waist is far too big. I cannot size down because it is styled to be snug across the stomach and will not accommodate leggings without sizing up. The fabric shows every wrinkle, etc. of whatever is worn under it. I bought the 29" length to have a bit of tznius and am pleased with the length. The XL is loose enough and should be reasonably comfortable. Because the waistband is so large, I will only be able to wear the skirt with a loose top that will hang outside. The ponte fabric is too warm for summer. It's too soon to know whether it will be warm enough for winter so this purchase is somewhat of a gamble.
